About the Role
You will play a key role in building and optimizing high-performance ecommerce platforms for leading brands. Whether you’re developing cutting-edge features, crafting seamless user experiences, or optimizing for scalability, you’ll be working on exciting
projects that make an impact. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our team of developers, designers, and strategists to create innovative solutions using Shopware and Shopify. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, improve, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in e-commerce.

Job Description:

As a Full-Stack Developer you will play a vital role in developing cutting-edge webshops for various brands in the Netherlands. Working closely with a team of talented developers, your responsibilities will encompass both Frontend and
Backend development, utilizing technologies such as PHP, MySQL, and Vue.js. You will contribute to project planning, implementation, and troubleshooting, ensuring the successful delivery of projects. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is
passionate about web development and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain responsive and accessible user interfaces for e-commerce projects.
• Develop and maintain backend solutions for webshops using PHP and MySQL.
• Translate Figma designs into functional components and integrate them seamlessly with backend systems.
• Implement and customize JavaScript plugins to enhance user experience and functionality.
• Design efficient database schemas and optimize queries for performance.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to extend webshop capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
• Contribute to project planning and provide insights into technical feasibility and complexity.

Requirements:

•  2+ years of experience with PHP, MySQL and Symfony.
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript (ES6+).
• Knowledge of Vue.js or other modern frontend frameworks (React.js / Angular.js).
• Strong understanding of web development best practices, including accessibility, semantic HTML, responsive design, and RESTful API design.
• Proficiency in modern CSS, with knowledge of advanced features and preprocessors like Sass/SCSS.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and the feature branch model.
• Experience with build tools (Webpack / Vite) and package managers (composer /npm).
• Fluent in English (Dutch language skills not required).

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopware / Shopify / Magento), particularly in the fashion industry.
• Knowledge of HTML templating engines like Twig or equivalent.
• Experience working with Figma and a strong understanding of UI design principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms or DevOps tools (e.g., AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) and message queues.
