About the Role
You will play a key role in building and optimizing high-performance ecommerce platforms for leading brands. Whether you’re developing cutting-edge features, crafting seamless user experiences, or optimizing for scalability, you’ll be working on exciting projects that make an impact. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our team of developers, designers, and strategists to create innovative solutions using Shopware and Shopify. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, improve, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in e-commerce.

Job Description:

As a Frontend Developer you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional user experiences for a variety of brands in the Netherlands.
Collaborating closely with our development team, you will be responsible for implementing innovative and responsive frontend solutions. Your expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be utilized to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. You will work closely
with our designers and backend developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative individual who is passionate about frontend development and stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain responsive and accessible user interfaces for a variety of ecommerce projects.
• Translate Figma designs into functional and interactive components.
• Utilize advanced CSS features, SCSS and Bootstrap to create reusable and maintainable styles.
• Implement and customize JavaScript plugins to extend functionality and enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and deliver a seamless user experience.
• Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices while adhering to web development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
• Contribute to project planning and provide insights into technical feasibility and complexity.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript (ES6+).
• Knowledge of Vue.js or other modern frontend frameworks (React.js / Angular.js).
• Strong understanding of web development best practices, including accessibility, semantic HTML, and responsive design principles.
• Proficiency in modern CSS, with knowledge of advanced features and preprocessors like Sass/SCSS.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and the feature branch model.
• Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack or Vite.
• Fluent in English (Dutch language skills not required).

Bonus Skills:

• Knowledge of HTML templating engines like Twig or equivalent.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopware / Shopify / Magento), particularly in the fashion industry.
• Experience working with Figma and a strong understanding of UI design principles.
• Basic understanding of backend workflows to support integration efforts.
